In its second year, 24 The Hard Way is a timed race held on two different courses at Bluff Creek Park at the same time. 24 The Hard Way is held on a 1-mile paved loop, and is a road race, and the Double Dirty Dozen is held on a 1 mile singletrack trail loop at the same location.
This means your road running friends and your trail running friends can get together and run for 24 hours in the same place!
If you're not up for 24 hours of fun, both races also offer 12 hour and 6 hour races. You can also just do a one hour road race on Friday night before the main events start, or one hour of fun on the trails at any time.
Bluff Creek Park is a great venue - it's right by Lake Hefner's dam, so your spectators and supporters can get dinner at one of the lakefront restaurants. There's also a playground for the little ones.
This race is also the Oklahoma Ultra Running championship!
